From my friend Judy Edwards in Hawaii:

"I spent a part of today explaining to a 20-year Maui resident (of Haiku) how coral grows, and why, and where, and what it is. She knew none of that, after all this time here, and she a woman of mid-40's, I'd say, and funny and bright. I jokingly asked her what she'd been DOING all this time. And she, a mother in the rain, looked wistfully at me and said: laundry.
Hello, reality check."

I just had to bump this one up again - as I spend a GOOD chunk of the last three days doing laundry - sheets, curtains and all - and then today the boys turned on the hose (without asking first, I might add) and before I knew it, they were COVERED in mud. Head to toe. I'm SOOoooo not kidding. All I could think of was this quote!

XOXO, Libbie

"Farmgirl Sister #10," and proud of it!!!
