Posted - Feb 05 2008 : 12:45:57 PM We travelled out into the Glenn HWY region for a weekend of marvelous skiing, knitting and eating, check out my pics at the link below. We skijoured in 9 miles to the lake and back out again, it was -2, I shook ice out of my orange jacket that was covered my fleece. Salty ice............ It's been -10/-15 the last few nights, finally it's too cold for me! jo

Posted - Feb 07 2008 : 03:31:31 AM I love going cross-country skiing! It was one of the activities that my family enjoyed growing up. I think as soon as I learned how to walk they strapped skis to my feet! My earlies winter memories are of going up and skiing and then drinking hot apple cider in the Van as we returned home (We drove a VW Van until it died on us!)
