I wish we could watch horses at the pond, but our neighbor has cattle. They are kinda soothing to see, though, and they're a motley bunch of mixed breeds which makes 'em fun for the kids to name & recognize. Actually, if I had it my way, there'd be a herd of elk in this valley, they way it should be. We had 200+ elk wintering around the place we rented in Ellensburg, WA. It was amazing.

Wow Jen! What a gorgeous view! I bet it just gets prettier and prettier as those trees leaf out! I can just imagine a small herd of horses gathering around that beautiful pond...
