RMEF needs a variety people with a variety of skills to help us protect and enhance elk country. Share your passion and energy by becoming a volunteer today.
Who are Elk Foundation volunteers?
* Chapter Committee Members who help raise funds through Big Game Banquets * Regional Chairs who benefit us in unique areas of opportunity * State Chairs who work with regional directors to develop and maintain local chapters * District Chairs who offer experience and expertise to chapters and assist the our field staff * Special Volunteer Coordinators who assist with more specific responsibilities in broad geographical areas * Board of Directors who serve as our key policymakers * In-house Volunteers who help with mailings to our members
As a volunteer, you can:
* organize highly successful banquets * remove invasive weeds and plant native trees and shrubs on elk range * install water guzzlers for elk, deer and antelope * survey elk populations to determine size and makeup of herds * remove barbed wire fences to help elk roam more freely * help reintroduce elk to native ranges * teach young and old alike the value of conservation and hunting
