I just finished reading Rebekah Teal's latest "Rumor Has It" columns over on the MaryJanesFarm site, and I am STILL laughing That urban farmgirl has grit, you know it? She and her aging dog Tripp recently stepped off the beaten path (and wayyyy outside the box). Go to http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/MJFBlog/ and read "Hiking Trials" and "Mercy!" - I tell you, I'm giggling still!

Seriously, though, we all have our comfort zones - those physical and figurative places where we feel confident and secure. As for me, I'm far more at ease in big wilderness than I am in a crowded city situation (although being lost at dusk in the woods is not my favorite of all scenarios). How about you? Are you a gung-ho wild woman, or do you have to psyche yourself up to face Mother Nature? How do you temper your phobias and breach the boundaries of your box
