Posted - Apr 19 2007 : 12:33:48 PM The last page of Nature Conservancy magazine runs personal vignettes called Lasting Impressions (there's a First Impressions photo spread that opens each issue). The 600-word essays tell of something memorable that transpired in a place the Conservancy cares about. That's defined broadly and includes entire regions like the Atlantic Forest of Brazil or the Upper Mississippi River Watershed, not just its own preserves.
