I watched a discovery channel show about new types of green energy and they are starting to make batteries with viruses! Can you believe it? They are also starting to make Ethanol with the woody parts of plants- not just corn!
Wild! That sounds pretty great - especially the woody plants - because that would allow for more diverse vegetative sources instead of big monocultural GM crops like corn. Viruses scare me though....
