OH MY GOSH Jen I misread Humane trap and thought it was live Human trap : (. I had to look even though I thought it to be a human trap, you just never know when you might need to trap a human alive and let them go somewhere far away, :P.
Boy was I surprised when I went to that site and realized I NEED GLASSES and a brush up on my spelling wouldn't hurt.
TOO FUNNY, Linda!! I bet you could make a really big version of this trap and bait it with, oh, cheesecake or something...there are some humans who would make great candidates for "relocation"!
Jim loves to make these kinds of things. He has made some smaller versions in a different style. It will be one of his winter projects. Thanks for the link Jen. JoAnn

LOL! cheesecake! I might find my own husband in it then!
My girls were just asking about building a trap to catch something in the yard with. Not so sure I like the idea. We have no need to relocate anything.
My husband, too! I know what you mean about catching stuff. How about a motion sensitive camera that could "capture" nighttime visitors? I think you can get those pretty cheap these days...but then you have to develop the film unless you get a digital...
Gosh Jen great minds think alike! A motion action camera is on Jim's Christmas list! When Eric was caretaker of Exit Glacier in Alaska a few years ago. One of his duties was to maintain there motion activated camera. I believe they got some shots of a wolverine. JoAnn

Wouldn't it be incredible to see a wolverine? Even on a photo like that - almost "real life." I wonder if Jo has seen one - I'm thinking she has. Around here, most people put up those cameras to scope out big bucks, but I'd love to catch a bear or bobcat secreting its way across our property!
Got a good deal on the camera. Jim was doing some research and found one and the cheapest price was at Cabelas (for the model he wanted). I found that odd but ordered it. Later in the I was checking on my order because I thought I had done something wrong and it wasn't on sale. I called the Customer Service person and talked to them and they said it was actually a Black Friday special good only on that day but they hadn't caught that they hadn't changed it back to the original price so I got it for the Black Friday price (five days later). Will keep you posted if we "catch" anything. JoAnn
